MFM runs on trust rather than paperwork, but a few plain rules keep the room worth being in. By requesting an invite or joining the Discord, you agree to what follows.
MFM is invite-only and free. Membership is personal to you — invites are single-use and must not be forwarded, sold, or shared. You must be at least 16 to join.
There is no subscription and nothing to purchase. We may cap the size of the community or pause new invites whenever we judge it necessary to keep things small and workable.
The whole community rests on a short list of things we simply don't do here:
Membership can be revoked at any time, at our discretion. Serious or repeated breaches of the conduct rules — harassment, spam, shilling, or breaking confidence — will end your access without a refund, because there is nothing to refund.
For most issues we'll talk to you first. For anything that puts members at risk, we may remove you immediately and explain afterward. Decisions about membership are final and rest with the community's moderators.
You keep ownership of everything you post. Your build logs, code, demos, and ideas remain yours. MFM claims no license to them beyond what is technically required to display your messages inside the community while you are a member.
By posting, you confirm you have the right to share it and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. Please don't post anything under an NDA you're bound by.
MFM is a closed space. Screenshots, quotes, and members' unreleased work are not for republishing elsewhere without that member's clear permission. Treat what you read here the way you'd want your own unfinished projects treated.
MFM is a community, not a service, an employer, an accelerator, or an investor. Advice shared between members is exactly that — the opinions of individuals, not professional, legal, or financial guidance.
The community and site are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We can't promise the Discord will always be available, and platforms we rely on, such as Discord itself, are outside our control.
To the fullest extent the law allows, MFM and its organizers are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the community — including anything you build on advice you found here, or the conduct of other members. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be specified], and any dispute will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction. If any clause here is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
